I presume there is no inter-availability of tickets between the franchisee's passengers and those of the Johnny-Come-Lately. How is this an improvement for passengers? Surely the provision of more trains by the franchisee would be a better alternative for them, miss one train, get the next instead of miss one train get the next by the same operator.
