Class 221 runs to Wrexham as part of open access operator's training programme

An off-lease Class 221 has travelled to Wrexham General to help train drivers on the potential open access service to London Euston.

    East-West Rail seems complete from Oxford to Milton Keynes, but there is no word as to when it may open. Have you any information, please?

    A Wrexham & Shropshire service was tried a few years ago. I hope the new attempt is more successul.

      The main reason it was unsuccessful was due to the fact that it was almost always cancelled!

        It wandered around Birmingham by a circuitous route, slowly and not stopping anywhere, from distant memory!
