Why concentrate on Paris? It will probably improve fares but it is difficult to connect from Gard du Nord to other termini especially with luggage. People still do not believe me when I relate my journey from St Pancras to Marseille without change, many years ago. "City centre: Heart to Heart" where did I hear that.?! Jeremy Ridge
