ScotRail, Network Rail and IDP Architects unveiled a plaque at Gleneagles on May 5, marking the winning of the Taylor Woodrow Partnership Award at the National Railway Heritage Awards for the redevelopment of the Scottish station. Some £7 million was spent upgrading the station, with money from the Scottish Government, Tactran, Railway Heritage Trust and Perth and Kinross Council. The work took place prior to the 2014 Ryder Cup golf tournament.
