John Smith to give speech at RAIL's National Rail Conference

John Smith, CEO and Founder of GB Railfreight, will speak at RAIL’s National Rail Conference at the Midland Hotel in Manchester on November 1.

Rail freight faces a number of challenges, with reductions in traditional commodities that were efficient and which generated cash for further investment. It is vital for the future that the industry isn't marginalised, and that infrastructure is developed to ensure a truly integrated mixed traffic railway on core freight routes. In return, the industry needs to quickly innovate in order to attract new markets and grow existing ones.
