Great Western Railway’s new pay-as-you-go smartcard tickets launched across the Bristol area
They are valid on CrossCountry and Transport for Wales services, as well as the operator’s own routes.
Passengers are promised the cheapest walk-up flexible fare, and weekly season ticket prices have been capped between two valid stations, seven days a week.
In the longer term, it is hoped that Bristol bus travel will be brought into the scheme.
