Beams in place at Bletchley flyover

Network Rail used a West Coast Main Line blockade over the early May Bank Holi-day to lift 103 concrete beams into place for a new flyover at Bletchley.

The structure, which is to carry East West Rail over the WCML, replaces a 1960s version that was demolished last year.

A pair of 600-tonne crawler cranes were used to undertake the installation.
