The first segments of the new Dawlish Sea Wall have been installed at Marine Parade.
The concrete panels were erected on February 9, despite hazardous conditions caused by Storm Ciara. They will form part of the new structure designed to protect the railway from the sea.
More than 100 panels will be installed at the site between Dawlish station and Kennaway Tunnel over the coming weeks. Once installation and back-filling of the panels is complete, Network Rail will also install track drainage and then begin work on creating a wider promenade that will also retain views of the coast.

Hi anyone tell me on dawlish sea wall concrete blocks installed does this mean now when u walk along sea wall towards warren track on left sea on right are u not going to be able to sea the sea anymore
