More than 1,000 rail industry delegates have registered to attend RAIL’s National Rail Recovery Conference, which will take place virtually on February 23-25.
The event, which is headline-sponsored by the Rail Delivery Group, RSSB and Trainline, will run across three half-days with an overarching theme to discuss how the railway will recover from the numerous challenges presented by the Coronavirus pandemic.
RAIL is bringing together leaders from across the railway and government to discuss the key issues surrounding the railway’s recovery, and the important role it has to play in the country’s wider economic and social prosperity in the future.

The event provides an unrivalled opportunity to gain insight about the work being done to address current tactical challenges and the thinking behind future strategy.
Each day will focus on a specific area of the industry’s path to recovery:
Day One (February 23): A regional transport strategy.
Day Two (February 24): Building sustainability into the railway.
Day Three (February 25): Building the foundations for a prosperous future.
A panel of more than 25 high-profile industry names are confirmed to speak at the event (see table below) with more still to be confirmed.
The speakers will participate in live Q&A sessions during the conference, giving delegates the chance to ask questions directly and participate in the discussions on the day.
The format will be made up of plenary and breakout sessions, allowing you to tailor your visit to the sessions that are of most interest to you. All sessions will be available to watch after the event, should you miss any of them live or want to re-watch them at a later date.
