NR renews Sandy points

Network Rail is to renew switches and crossings near Sandy, in a £3.6 million project aimed at improving reliability on the East Coast Main Line.

All lines at Sandy will be closed on February 4/5 and 11/12, with buses replacing trains between Peterborough and Hitchin.
