The Freight Transport Association broadly supports the Prime Minister’s vision of “frictionless trade” with the EU and ambitious free trade with global trading partners. Chief Executive David Wells admits though that it is an unsettling time for the organisation’s members and urges them to contribute to the thinking and understand how to grasp the opportunities that lie ahead. The FTA is running an event on March 15 to examine in detail Britain’s future trading relationship with the EU
