The introduction of a new timetable in December has provided seats for an additional 1,400 passengers in the morning peak, but caused severe overcrowding in the evening peak. “c2c acknowledged that the amendments and crowding had been ‘unsettling’ for passengers and has offered season ticket holders the equivalent of two days’ free travel.”
