CDG Express Operator selected
The Hello Paris consortium of Keolis and RATP Dev has been named preferred bidder for the concession to operate the future Charles de Gaulle Express rail link.
The new service is scheduled to launch on January 1 2024, ahead of the French capital hosting the 2024 Olympic Games.
The agreement will run until 2038 to operate a 32km route on existing tracks and 8km of new construction between Paris Est and the TGV station at CDG’s Terminal 2.
A fleet of Alstom Coradia Liner trains will give a journey time of 20 minutes, and carry approximately nine million passengers a year.
