Delays for passengers?
A report in The Times reveals a leaked UK government report that queues at St Pancras International could be over a mile long in the event of a ‘no deal’ Brexit. This situation could arise should French immigration officials switch to a system of questioning all passengers, rather than as now where only passport details are recorded for the majority.
A mile-long queue would be the equivalent of 1,600-3,000 people, which is enough to fill two to four Eurostars.
