Citizens patrols have been banned on trains in Slovakia after the emergence of a vigilante group organised by neo-Nazi party Kotleba – People’s Party Our Slovakia (LSNS).
LSNS began patrolling the network last April after a physical attach on a passenger believed to have been perpetrated by Roma (gypsies).
Founded in 2010, LSNS won 8% of the vote in Slovakia’s 2016 parliamentary election and publically supports the wartime pro-Nazi regime that deported Jewish and Roma citizens to concentration camp during the country’s occupation.
