Stadler unveiled its first bi-mode FLIRT in Northern Italy. This is the first time the Swiss manufacturer has delivered a bi-mode version of its successful FLIRT design. The deal is worth 43.1 million euros. The company has an order for similar trains for Greater Anglia, with deliveries starting next year, and the trains due to enter traffic in 2019.
