First China-Netherlands service

On July 5, a freight train loaded with 80 TEUs (Twenty Foot Equivalent Units) left Kumming in China, bound for the Netherlands. The containers carried coffee, and the journey time was considerably faster than the three weeks taken to travel between China and Rotterdam on the fastest container ships. – MW
