Eurostar’s new e320 trains mitigate the risk of large-scale web streaming over mobile networks by providing entertainment and information directly to passenger’s own devices. Unlike airlines, that require passengers to use devices provided on the aircraft, Eurostar hosts the content onboard trains but delivers it to smartphones, laptops or tablets through a WiFi backbone, freeing up the data network.
