No ticket? Pay the fare with a hand implant

The Times reports that passengers on Sweden’s state-run railway can now use microchips implanted in their hands instead of paper tickets. The chips are the size of a grain of rice and use the same technology as London’s Oyster Cards, but rail user must already have one of the implants as the rail operator does not yet sell them.
