Nicholas Megaw reports that Northern England claimed a smaller share of UK foreign investment in 2015 than a year earlier, despite the Government's 'Northern Powerhouse' agenda to geographically rebalance the economy.
Foreign investment in new facilities in the North fell from 14.7% of total spending in the UK in 2014 to 12.6% in 2015, according to data service fDi Markets.
