Northern Line extension to Battersea pushed back by a year
RTM reports that the opening of the £1bn extension of London Underground’s Northern Line to Battersea has been pushed back by at least a year to 2021.
It is understood that TfL is also now in dispute with the Malaysian developer behind the power station redevelopment over the likely cost of the overrun.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan has appeared to confirm the delay, saying the original opening is now “under review”.
