The union’s Keith Richmond interviews Shadow Transport Minister Rachael Maskell. On Labour’s rail policy, she says: “I want to work closely with the rail unions because you’ve got a really important voice in shaping the sector and driving forward our flagship policy of rail nationalisation. Our transport system is about the movement of goods and services and at the heart is our rail infrastructure and how it connects in the right way with the economy. We want a railway that works for everyone because rail is the main artery of the transport system.”
