Transport for London is planning to rebuild Camden Town Underground station.
Planned improvements include a new second entrance and exit to the station, three new escalators, step-free access from the street to trains (with two new lifts), and more space to change between trains.
A period of public consultation began on October 12 and will continue until December 11. Subject to funding and the relevant permissions, work on the project could start in 2019 and be completed in 2023/24.
The existing station entrance would remain in use, and no changes would be made to nearby buildings. More than 80,000 people a day use the station.

Camden Town tube station is a very busy tube station and it's good to see it revamped & redeveloped to minimise overcrowding. Same goes with West Hempstead London Overground train station is also to be revamped with a new footbridge and free access from street to platform with new lifts to be installed and West Hempstead London Underground (Jubilee Line) tube station may also need to be revamped with step free access from street to platform.
