LNER has confirmed the departure times for its new services from Bradford Forster Square to London King’s Cross.
From May 19, a total of seven trains will run. As well as the existing 0630 and 0843 services, trains for the capital will also leave at 1117, 1317, 1516, 1716 and 1915 Monday-Saturday.
The first northbound train will leave London King’s Cross at 0703 compared to the current 1633.
LNER’s Managing Director, David Horne, said: “The extra LNER services will make it even easier for people to visit the region and enjoy all it has to offer, while also benefiting the area by contributing an estimated £4 million per year of economic value.”
LNER is also doubling the number of Sunday services from one to two. Times for those trains have not been revealed.

This makes a mockery of Grand Central's plans to add a couple of incremental services to their existing services which where knocked back by saying it would abstract LNER passenger numbers adding there wasn't any spare ECML capacity, now we suddenly find and additional14 Kings Cross to Bradford -Leeds area paths per day. LNER seem to be the tail wagging the DfT Dog. as they try to create a Monopoly at the expense of Customer choice and competition. No doubt fares will be marginally higher than existing GC Fares.
