The new timetable for the Borders Railway has been revealed ahead of the official opening of the line between Edinburgh and Tweedbank in September.
Most journeys are timed to take about 55 minutes, leaving every half hour during the day, although evening, Saturday and Sunday services will be less frequent.
The first train will leave Tweedbank at 0845 and arrive at Edinburgh Waverley Station at 0940 on September 6. Tickets for travel are expected to be available in early June, three months ahead of opening, in line with usual industry practice.
