HS2 offers opportunities for Scottish supply chain

Scotland has the ambition and opportunity to benefit from High Speed 2, according to one of the country’s leading politicians.

Keith Brown, Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure, Investment and Cities, told delegates at an HS2 supply chain event in Edinburgh on November 5 that building the line to Scotland, as well as the North of England, would attract business north of the border.

“Scotland has a reputation for excelling in the delivery of major infrastructure projects, and I want to see our businesses and workforce realise the full benefits that HS2 can bring to Scotland. We have the ambition and opportunity to see Scotland benefit from HS2,” said Brown.
