HS2 Ltd is sharing with the wider UK construction industry the lessons it has learned so far from planning and construction of the new high-speed railway.
The HS2 Learning Legacy project, launched at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in London on October 11, includes experiences covering design, the environment, digital engineering, and health and safety.
New technical papers, case studies, videos and podcasts will be published every six months. They replicate similar work done by Crossrail and Thameslink London Bridge, and information can be viewed on its website at learninglegacy.hs2.org.uk

The evidence would suggest that HS2 Ltd hasn't learned much at all, not least about financial control. It's always easier to spend someone else's money (in the case of HS2, that of the British taxpayer). The only lesson to be learned is for successive British Governments not to create such monsters that in no way meet the future transport infrastructure requirements of the nation.
