Impish pitch for summer visitors

LNER is offering special treatment to passengers on the 0803 Kings Cross-Lincoln Azuma service on July 3, to mark what it describes a resurgence in demand for summer day trips out.

More than three-quarters of 2,000 people surveyed by the company said they felt nostalgic about returning to their youth now that COVID-19 re-strictions are being lifted.

LNER’s ‘Lincoln Experience’ therefore coincides with the launch of the Lincoln Imp Trail, which takes visitors on a tour to find a series of statues commemorating the city’s famous symbol.
